It is Giving Tuesday! What is Giving Tuesday? I am sure many of you are familiar with the concept but it is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when nonprofits focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Last year, you blessed me and Rumbi abundantly as we were able to raise the money needed for a Children's Training for Healing the Wounds of Trauma that occurred in January this year. This year, I would love to give back to you!! I know I have not been the best at communication lately but rest assured, the ministry is as active and thriving as ever! It just looks a bit different at the moment with many outreaches moved to online, including the Healing the Wounds of Trauma groups and training I have been involved in. This is where I would love to give back. Starting in January, I will be offering a small group where we will be taking time to bring healing to wounds to the heart from trauma or loss. If you struggle with hopelessness, ongoing sadness or exhaustion, unexplained anger, nightmares, flashbacks, being overwhelmed, feelings of isolation, or unprocessed grief, this small group may be for you.
